112 days of lockdown come to an end

You could almost hear the collective sigh of relief as 112 days of lockdown came to an end in Melbourne this week. It was as if we have all been living in a pressure cooker and all of a sudden the lid has been lifted and the pressure released.

Of course we're not back to normal life as we knew it prior to the pandemic, but at least for all Melburnians there is now light at the end of a very long tunnel, and most importantly for our young adults and children they can start to regain some of their very important social life.

It has been incredibly tough for 18 year olds who would normally be experiencing going to pubs, clubs, driving around to see friends using their new licenses and freedom - but unfortunately these things we have all taken for granted had been taken away.

Let's hope that the worst is well and truly behind us and we can all start to get back to some sort of normality, back to business, back to playing sport, back to seeing friends & family and back to travelling. Melbourne is amazing city with so much to offer, and here's to living life once again.
