Live-streaming can be scary . . .

Live-streaming can be daunting, especially if you don't know where to start, what equipment is needed or how to get the best results with video & sound.

If you need to use more than one camera, at the very least you will need a piece of equipment called a 'switcher' which allows you to seamlessly switch from one camera (perhaps the main camera), to the second angle and vice versa.

Basic switchers should allow up to four camera feeds or a mix between cameras and sharing a screen from another laptop or PC. This can be handy if you are showing a video clip or presentation as part of your live-stream.

The other important aspect to factor in is of course audio...and if there are multiple people talking you will either need to have them mic'd up individually via lapel microphones, or perhaps a shotgun microphone just out of frame. This will ensure your live-stream not only looks professional, but sounds crystal clear as well. There is nothing worse than trying to listen to a poorly produced video with lots of background noise and echo.

Hit me up for more information if you're looking to run a live-stream event and need assistance.
